I sometimes get asked in Columbus why my pieces are so “expensive” and some say that they “can’t afford” my work even without asking about pricing…here’s how we must change our perspective on buying from designers and artists who make with our hands and our hearts. When you buy one of my luxurious pieces, you know that every aspect of creating it is mindful - you know not only WHO MADE IT, but WHO DESIGNED IT and that it was made in a SAFE AND HAPPY SPACE. Moreover, because I’m transparent about my supply chain, you also know what materials are used and often times where they were produced (like on this farm!). All of these factors have an impact and hold energy that I believe translate into the beautiful and unique garments that you then WEAR ON YOUR BODY. We should think about why we question the value of work from local designers and artists when/if we don’t do so with big brands? When you work with an independent bridal stylist, you’re not being “sold to” at a boutique. There are some amazing bridal boutiques that do a great job at helping you find a dress but they’re limited to their own assortment. Here’s what I do: ✨Curate a vision around the way you want to feel on your special day. ✨Remove the noise (aka opinions) and become an extension of your voice so you get what you want.
