ODERA
We were so happy to welcome ODERA back into the Void. A deeply talented artist with a wide range of expression, she is also one of the kindest souls we know.

She proposes a distinctive & refreshing sound:
Drawing inspiration from different genres and forms of expression, she approaches each set as a dynamic conversation.
Her sets move naturally from ambient to more drums/bass -based rhythms, between ancestral echoes and moments of higher energy. Just like a griot; Always thoughtful and personal, she bridges time travel and sounds dimensions.

Both artistically and on a human level, ODERA has played an important role in shaping the alternative electronic music scenes of Nairobi and Kampala. Beyond her musical contributions, she continues to create space for more inclusive communities, championing the visibility and presence of women and queer artists wherever she goes.

An inspiring artist and a beautiful human being, we're grateful to have her as part of the Void.

$Creaked welcomes Ugandan producer and DJ @masaka___masaka to the label with his new EP, due November 6th, 2026. Referring to both « Extended Architecture » and « Extreme Aspherical », ‘XA’ opens a new chapter in his singular musical identity. Drawing from techno, trap, grime, jungle and deconstructed club, the EP moves between fractured rhythms, hypnotic percussion, synthetic textures and shifting atmospheres, reflecting Masaka Masaka’s distinctive approach to sound. The three-track EP includes a collaboration with Kampala-based artist @hibotep on “MXL”, alongside “Say” and “Walls”. ‘XA’ is available to pre-order now via Bandcamp. Cover artwork by @aishaodera$
