HELLO PEOPLE!
Sharing some good news today with you all!

As an aspiring illustrator or designer, there's no greater joy than holding your printed work in your hands. It's the best feeling ever, an affirmation of your creative journey.

I got my printed copy of the comic book "ADI and ANKU", on which I have been working for the last 4 months.🎉💥
During this journey I learnt so many things about making a new comic book from scratch, working on character design, anatomy, making backgrounds, compositions, storyboarding and finally illustrating comic panels. And Now the ultimate happiness when your work gets printed and in your hands.

The journey began when I selected as an illustrator intern at Menstrupedia for my graduation project. When I joined, I started working on a project that was a new comic book on body safety for children. There are so many children who face child abuse, and they don't have any clue how to react or save themselves in that situation. This comic book, "Adi and Anku", can help every child and their parents learn about body safety and what to do in such situations. Earlier, I saw and heard so many people about such cases where a child gets abused by a third person or someone in the family. I am so fortunate and proud that I got this opportunity to work at Menstrupedia, working on a comic book on a very sensitive topic that will affect the lives of so many children and people.

📚🌍✨ When we craft a new book, we envision a world where it already exists. We ponder how this book would shape the world and influence the lives of its readers and those around them.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We wanted a world where teaching your kids about body safety would be easy for parents as well as kids to learn on their own. Child sexual abuse can be prevented if the child knows how to identify an unsafe situation and what to do in such situations.

🔬🎨 We undergo rigorous research, user study, design ideation, iterations, prototyping, and user testing over months to refine the comic book.
📖🌟 The story unfolds as characters evolve, backgrounds materialize, and panel by panel, the comic book springs to vibrant life.

🎉 The joy of seeing our 3rd comic book "Adi & Anku" getting printed is profound. Seeing those pages printed holds the promise that important conversations would take place in our houses, we as parents will get a bit more comfortable in talking to our kids about body safety, and together we shall ensure an empathetic environment for them.

🌟 Seeing the book in print tells me that we as readers have the opportunity to shape the future generation and create a safer world for our kids.
Here’s to our 3rd comic book: Adi & Anku, a Body safety guide for preschoolers.
