The great revelation had never come. The great revelation perhaps never did come. Instead there were little daily miracles, illuminations; matches struck unexpectedly in the dark

Imminent and complete destruction. Moments before death. Tearing off the wings off the hummingbird and bleaching its bones under the eye of our watchful father. The first rock from the cliff face dislodges itself and tumbles gracefully into the sea.

Hi!! As promised I have a little project to share with u, which u can access thru the linktree in my bio now —

2 Dead Boyz is a selection and casual mix-through of a vast library of beats and songs made between 2019- 2021, some of which were intended for collaboration with a close friend of mine at the time, who wanted to rap on them before the project ultimately fell through. I have mixed them to my own taste as of now but mostly left them untouched beyond that. This is my way of telling an oblique story about a fraught, volatile and bizarre relationship, too intense to be platonic, too hostile to be romantic. It’s a series of snapshots of my pre-transition life, a picture of a hermetically repressed dysphoria that oozed in through psychedelic states, poisoning everything it touched. I felt I owed it to myself to put something like this out before some of my more elaborate recent work. Oh, and I mixed it to be played as one continuous track so I would really appreciate it if you listened that way (it’s the Soundcloud link) , but I have still uploaded it as separate tunes for convenience because I’m a big softie!! Hope you enjoy xx love u - Harmie

But when you turned back around to ask her name, the girl was gone. The whole moment had been a cruel trick of the light. The death rattle of a chronically drunk mind. A whole life you had imagined with all its intricate nuance, all the beauty and tragedy. Washed away, inevitably, like a sandcastle at high tide.

Before we where born, the ethos showed us our lives, and told us our doom was a choice.
there’s only me now. Still pacing the corridors of our mortal days. seeing through every window, dismantling visions of what it costs to inhabit this body,
in every age,
and every cage,
Each morning we harness on our disguises
paint, plastic or polyester.
These uniforms of obedience stitched together by hands that are already bleeding. we parade through the carnival of our own extinction.the price we pay is small, they claim. only your breath. only your name. only your flesh.
While our womanhood is skinned and made into fine leather.
not to be celebrated but extracted pulled out and dissected, medicated then sterilised in their commodity
so we dance in the theatre of hysteria, where the curtains never fall
At least when the maniquins inherit our silence they’ll never bawl.
It’s just inherent to our existence they say, “you know it’s always been this way.”
