🤩 Welcome to the Club

For the fans who rushed home after school to watch their premium-cable treasure. For the millions who discovered these performers later, never knowing they shared an origin.

For Disney and pop culture enthusiasts, and for entertainment industry historians curious about the creative and business decisions behind television’s unlikeliest star machine.

And for anyone interested in how a single television show helped reshape an entire industry’s approach to developing young creatives, building the system that would later launch Disney Channel stars like Zendaya, Selena Gomez, Olivia Rodrigo, the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Raven-Symoné, and Jenna Ortega.

This is the story of where it all began.
