Gratitude…
Words can’t begin to express how much of it I have for this sport. Thank you lord for watching over me these past 12 years and not letting me miss one game throughout this journey. Football has been the forefront of my life from Sunday lynvet games to the biggest stage on Long Island. Thank you to my parents for giving me football and being my biggest supporters and motivators through every win, loss, and set back. To my brother, thank you for being the role model little me needed and teaching me the game. To my coaches at Lynvet, middle school, JV, and varsity, thank you for helping me grow as a player and a person. And to my teammates, there’s no group I’d rather work hard and grow up with. Though this isn’t the ending we expected, the memories I made with everyone will last a lifetime. I Love all you guys forever. Football shaped me into who I am, and I was blessed to do it wearing colonials across my chest.Thank you, @williamfloydfb and thank you, football❤️. 90, 3, 44, and 24 out✌️.

The time has come.
Ten years in this program, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the laughter, friendships, and memories built along the way. Football has taught me lessons I’ll carry for life. From Lynvets, to not starting in middle school, getting pulled up as a freshman, missing most of my junior year, and even switching to a new position halfway through this year for the team, every step of this journey has been a blessing. To my parents and family, thank you for being my biggest supporters. To my coaches, thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. While I may never strap up the pads again, the boy who fell in love with this game will always live inside me. We came short of our goal this season, but the real victory was getting to share the field with my brothers for all these years. Thank you Floyd football, for everything.

The kid has grown up. Thank you to the Floyd Football family for letting me represent you over the years. I can’t even say how thankful I am to be a part of floyd. All the way from middle school to JV9, to getting pulled up my sophomore year, and now as a captain. Supporting me through all the ups and downs, I’m happy I can say l’ve truly learned from the best over the years both on and off the field, making me the person I am today. I hope i made a difference. Cap out. #goodbye #kta #whattheyknow #ricoisland
