🥇Medal Monday 🥇
Huge congrats to everyone who raced the Staten Island Half marathon over the weekend.
Racing in pouring rain, wind and non-stop rolling hills is a major WIN to be proud of!

Recess takes a field trip for the Uptown Games.

Great vibes, fun competition, what a great experience best of all community it was like a family reunion.

Thank you @wrucrew for having us and putting this together and bringing the New York running community. What a fun day!

Uptown Games was one of those days that reminds you how special it is to be part of a community. Competing, cheering each other on, laughing, challenging ourselves, and just enjoying every moment.
So happy and grateful I got to experience all of this with Team @circa95 ✨🚩
The best part was getting to share it all with you guys!
Thank you @wrucrew & @circa95 🫶🏽

A day like this deserves another post!😁

Weekend was too good: doing some of my favorite things with some of my favorite people.

Huge shout out to @wrucrew for organizing the funnest Uptown Games field day and my team @circa95 for giving me the opportunity to compete alongside some talented hula hoopers and potato sack hoppers. Sensational.
This was truly healing. And we won third place hehe

“You belong here. You deserve to feel this joy” - I chanted to my inner child.

It’s tough sometimes to navigate this thing called adult life, but it’s definitely makes it more fun to share miles and food with teammates, to see people truly happy accomplishing their goals and doing things they love, to dance without fear, to have a heart who sees the real you and a small circle of real friends who are there for you holding your hand through thick and thin and some are even down to try (and take it home) a new recipe you created on a whim hungry while at the market 🐐

My heart is safe. No matter what.

Week 4 of training. Soulful, to say the least
