With Fall around the corner, here’s a look at what some of our brothers have been up to this summer.

3-0 for Mt Whitney Summit

For the 11th year, Sigma Nu has summited Mt. Whitney in the name of the Red White and Blue Project.

You can help support our veterans and donate to the Red White and Blue Project by visiting the link in our bio!

Trekking for the Troops is an annual Sigma Nu philanthropy beginning in 2012 intended to bring awareness to the struggles that many post-combat troops face returning to civilian life.

Brothers Mateo Sanchez Delope, Connor Lewis, AJ Kaplan, Justin Vaziri, and Luiz Beethoven Amaral (alumnus) backpacked 90 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail from Kennedy Meadows to the summit of Mt. Whitney to show solidarity for the physical duress that soldiers endure as well as symbolize the long, arduous journey of returning home.

This year we will be donating all of the proceeds from our fundraising to the Red White and Blue Project. All money raised will go towards educating, inspiring, supporting, and empowering through veteran-themed documentaries, TV programs, community outreach programs, and scholastic fundraisers.
