This Senior Sunday hits a little differently. Friday wasn’t just senior night, it was AJ’s last night under those high school lights. So many tears, so many memories, all wrapped up in one unforgettable evening.

Now we start getting ready for whatever comes next. And just know this, kiddo: we couldn’t be more proud of you and we love you so BIG. 💛🏈.

Special THANK YOU to Coach Brooks, Coach Vonner, Coach Frantz, Coach Graham, Coach Wade, D- Rob, Rob, DP, Vincent, Johnson, and many others that have been a part of AJ's journey. We are so grateful for your love, guidance, and mentorship throughout this process! I seriously can't thank you enough! 🧡🖤🤍 #JFND

I’ve been a DB developer for years now!

When I started coaching, I locked in on coverage — zone, off-man, press… you name it. My guys became technicians in space. Confident. Precise. Elite.
But that’s only half the game.

We were missing the side I loved most when I played — tackling. hitting. imposing your will.

That ends now.

From this point forward…

I’m building complete DBs — ones who strike fear and shut down the pass.

Because everything means everything.

Would you use this drill?

Ending the 3-video series on defensive backs attacking the run block with this one.

I don’t talk long about an issue before I start finding a way to fix it.

Here my DBs are working with a small ring they have to grab, gain control over, and stabilize — simulating hand placement on the breastplate of a receiver’s shoulder pads. Once they establish their base, they can peek, locate the ball carrier, and finish with a violent rip.

How did you enjoy the Run Block Series? 💪🏽🔥
