It’s graduation day at WLHS!

forever thankful for all of these idiots, it’s been such a blessing spinning with them for the past three years. winterguard has had its ups and downs, but i’m glad to have been a part of it the past three years. this is mainly an appreciation post, but i’m also deciding to announce my bittersweet decision to stop spinning. it’s been great, but i’m deciding to focus more on other areas of my life. goodnight, winterguard.🤍🤎

and that wraps up my second year of high school band, i am going to miss all of the seniors who are graduating because i look up to a lot of them (not just because they are taller than me) and i have so many memories with them already and i know i will make more memories with all of the other people in the band and can’t wait for my next two years of band

I can’t believe that my time here is up. Years ago I couldn’t wait for this moment and now I don’t want to lose it. This band and these people have taught me so much. In the past five years I have learned to grow and gain so much knowledge that I never knew I needed. I earned a type of confidence that I never knew that I had. So thank you band for teaching me to be the person that I am today. I don’t know where I would be without you, but I do know that I wouldn’t be half the person that I am today. This band has brought me so many great things and so many wonderful people. I’m so beyond grateful for the family that I have with this band. I will forever miss you all my buddies but don’t worry this is not a goodbye it’s simply a I’ll see you later. I love you rebel regiment. You will always hold a special place in my heart❤️

words can not describe the direct impact this program has had on my life. i have found my passion, my future career and my forever family in these past 7 years. i have nothing but the best wishes for the future of the regiment. thank you to every single person who has came and gone through this program to make me into the person i am today. off and on the field , no matter how big or small, you all have made a lasting mark on my life , something i will cherish forever. i am beyond honored to have been part of the unstoppable leadership team for the past two years , and even more on honored to pass down my title to the amazing @abbigail_alguire , you are going to do amazing things. my fellow seniors, we have been through it ALL together and i’m so proud and excited to see where are futures lead us next, always , always , stay in touch. never take a single minute for granted , work hard and love even harder. thank you to my second family and the home we have built , i never want to say goodbye. I LOVE YOU REBEL REGIMENT !!!💌💌 #westisbest
