Where to begin. I've been playing baseball for 12 years, and now it's all over, which is crazy because it felt like yesterday I was with my family driving to bracket play on Sundays. Baseball has given me some of the highest of highs and lowest of lows, where one day I would go 3-4 with 2 rbi's and throwing 6 complete innings, and then the next day going 0-4 with zero confidence. Baseball is a mental game and taught me how to block out the negatives and quickly move on from mistakes because you can't succeed without the failures and can't succeed without moving on from the previous mistake your made. If you make an error, tuff luck, learn from it and move on, there's no point dwelling on something from the past you can't change, you adapt to it. There were plenty of times where I didn't want to pick up the baseball anymore after certain performances, but teammates, friends, and close ones kept me in line and pushed me to continue the sport I loved. I would like to all those who have been with me, every teammate I've had, every organization I've played for, every coach, friends, and family for enduring my baseball journey. I would like to thank a few special people, First my parents, Mom, Dad, I would like thank yall for always coming to every game/tournament, missing out on work, spending hours in the heat and cold, from sunrise to sunset, showing up even if I didn't play, yall are forever my number one fans. Secondly I would like to thank Coach Jesse, he gave me a chance that no other coach had ever given to me before, believing in me when no on else bared an eye at me, he'd given me my confidence back and gave me the exposure I had always needed. Next, I would like to thank Coach Crowbar, even though I ended the last few years as a PO, he put me through hell to make me a better hitter, putting me through vigorous batting sessions for hours on end. He taught me the importance of keeping my cool, bettering my swing, and made training overall a fun process. Lastly, I would like to thank every college coach/scout that showed interest in me, offered me, and critiqued my craft to better my chances at the next level. LLDS
