Boat thoughts/existential boats.

Thank you for the boats. More boats? I'm still having both thoughts...and what boat paintings do.

Hands.
I mean jeeze, we get hands here.

And they can be used to help or to hurt, to make or destroy, but we get them and we get to use them to love what we love.

(Mealy posts like this might be why a certain art critic unfollowed my account. I don't blame him. It's kind of emo and certainly not critical. Lots of trees… not a lot of nudity…I don't know.

Staring at hands also may be why my whole life people have assumed I'm "on something.")

But really. Hands.

Swimming pools and swimmers.

I have this habit of asking what things mean. It's like a game. What does salt mean? What does carbon mean?

Swimmers and swimming pools mean different things.

Sometimes they intersect like in the brilliant film adaptation of the brilliant story by John Cheever "The Swimmer."

What does September 22 mean?

What does "just keep swimming" mean?
