Senior night for basketball at Germantown High School was last night. While Christian stopped playing for the school, these boys are still family to us. We’ve been watching some of them play together since 3rd grade, and this core six came together in 5th grade. This team has always been so fun to watch — they play hard and truly play for each other.
Even though they didn’t all finish high school basketball together, Christian and I still try not to miss a game. And I still get my surrogate mom hugs after every one. 💙
I’m still recovering and not feeling 100%, but there was no way I was missing this night for my other favorite boys.
