Behind every high on stage are months of pushing through the lows, dusting off the doubts, and putting in the work when no one’s watching. It has been a tough time for me personally too. But my mantra is hard work. Work is worship. Music is worship. And luckily for us, work is Music! Back to back concerts in Dubai and Delhi, and I'm back home as a tired , sleepy man but an extremely grateful man.. Aapki Duaa rahi, toh har din aisa hi hoga 😊❤️

IT’S NOT FUNNY! 😄
That’s what my T shirt said from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara..

But what happened last night is something I’m still trying to process.

I went there to watch Dr. Palash Sen and Euphoria perform. Songs I have listened to, loved and sung for years.

Never did I imagine that a few hours later, I would be standing in front of him, singing four lines of Ab Na Ja.
His song. To him. ❤️

And here’s the funny thing. After 12 years on stage with my band DHRUV and otherwise, hundreds of mainstream shows, having had the privilege of performing in front of Mr. A R Rahman, opening for Sunidhi Chauhan ji, Lucky Ali sir, and sharing stages around some incredible names over the years, I was still so damn nervous singing those four lines in front of Palash Sir.

I closed my eyes and just sang.

And then I heard the room react. The applause. And when I opened my eyes, Dr. Palash Sen was right there, listening.

What followed is something I will never forget.
He pulled me into a tight hug. I got to touch his feet and seek his blessings. 🙏 In that moment, I wasn’t a performer. I was simply a fan standing in front of someone whose music has been a part of my life for years.

Dr. Palash Sen @instadhoom , sir, thank you for the incredible show, for your warmth, your kindness and most of all, for the honour of those four lines. You may never know what those few seconds meant to me, but I will carry them with me for the rest of my life.

And Ajay Bhai, @ajaymilestone Milestone Events @milestoneuae , I am forever indebted to you for making this happen. Some things simply cannot be repaid. You gave me a memory for life. ❤️

I went there to watch a concert.

I came home with a story I’ll tell for the rest of my life.
Still surreal. Still smiling.
