been a little quiet on here lately ... 2026 has already brought some big, life-changing things ✨

AJ and I are officially homeowners! I still can’t really believe I’m typing that🙈 We are so excited, but more than anything just deeply grateful. The way God has provided for us and orchestrated this season of life has not been lost on us 🙌🏻

There has been a lot of heaviness in the world. I know so many of us are carrying things that feel heavy and unseen. That has honestly been part of why I’ve stepped back a bit here.. Sometimes it feels strange to celebrate when others are hurting.

But, I’ve always wanted this space to be a little creative escape. A little corner of the internet to document the moments in life, both big and small. A virtual time capsule if you will⏳️🌞
At its root, photography has always been a way for me to document feelings and moments as they happen. Not just the professional work or pretty landscapes, but the raw and real moments too.

Of course I had to bring the 35mm camera to closing weekend. These feel like sacred little memories I’ll hold onto forever 🎞💛

a little pit stop on a drive through the northeast corner of Yellowstone 🌲

We found a little hidden gem in the park so we could have some quiet time in nature with our respective hobbies 📸✨️🎣📖
This was such a peaceful moment on this summer roadtrip that we'll forever cherish because it's not often you're completely off grid like this (literally 0 service, just us, the pronghorn and the creek). Soaked up the sun, took a dip and fully embraced the nature that surrounded us🌞

early fall in the Swiss Alps 🌄

This was taken in late September last year, but you would have thought it was summertime with the heat wave that made its way through!
We were so excited to have a cool off after spending some time in Sicily. We had packed for early fall mountain weather (as it was the weeks prior to us arriving there) & were greeted with temps in the mid 80s 😂

I've never really been a summer person; more of a 75 degree temps max - what about you?
