13.1 miles. Round two. 🥶

Mile 9 is where the real race began. The pain kicked in, my body wanted to stop, and every part of me was looking for a reason to quit.

But quitting was never the standard I set for myself.
The body begged me to stop. The mind refused.

Another 13.1 in the books. The work continues. ❄️🦍

Day 9 Of Music and Kicks @toky.o.mike

Earlier today I saw toky.o.mikes post and when I swiped to that aqua net hairspray pic I flashed back to my teenage years and freestyle music! The weekends in San Antonio playing some of those classics while cruising with the homies @ajgil9 at Brackenridge Park or hitting up Club Spice before a night cap on Southwest Military Drive. Man those were crazy times. Well back to reality now I am going to serenade my wife @soniamariestyles with my vocal skills of this classic from Johnny O!!

Well Enjoy and Stay Blessed!! 🫡🫡🙏🏽🙏🏽
