Well the last time I had a BA version of this old classic was in November 2020.
Don't know how many of you that remember the whole debacle back then? Was it supposed to taste light tart and strawberries? Majority poured it down the drain, some asked for their money back but a few were absolutely in love.

WELL I CAN TELL YOU NOW! NO NEED TO WORRY THIS YEAR BECAUSE IS ABSOLUTELY F🤫CKING SMASHING DELICIOUS!

It is sweet like diaaabeeetuz (I can make these jokes because I am a type 1 myself), a boozy chocolatey delight with small hints of coconut.

It is so good that I question my own judgement, but it was the first and only beer I have poured this far this saturday so I cant blame it on the alcohol!

Absolutely priceworthy with its 93 sek at Systembolaget. I might have to buy some more and try again to see if it was contemporary confusion of the mind or if it is actually this good🤔

"BÄRZEN"

I did a thing! A while back @brewhuslan reached out to me and asked if I wanted to make a beer with them. Well I did the naming and design part end they brewed the beer. The best kind of collaboration 😄

The beer is a 2,8% abv Märzen and I am actually impressed by how much flavour and body it has considering its low abv. Feel like it can be a great alternative to drink around christmas time!

You can by it at their brewery in Jörlanda or at Ica focus in Gothenburg. Or if you live in other parts of the country the word on the street is that @olkiosken just added it to their shop today as well 🥳

"ROLLING HILLS"

Well well, another day, another collaboration beer from @tenhandsbrewing . This time with british @pentrichbrewing . Hazy IPA at 6.5% ABV, double dry hopped with Citra, Enigma and Vic Secret.

In general I feel like Ten hands has a great way of making IPAs that are quite crushable and goes down fast, but also has alot of body and flavour.
This one was quite smooth and creamy with nice tropical notes.

Also, Isn't it funny that the can art made by @hello.violett matches a painting I did back in 2018?

Did you also know that when beer photos first showed up on this page It was usually photos where I had matched beer with a painting I had made. But since I got more likes of posing with beer myself in stead of the paintings I stopped doing that. Funny how social media works! 🥲

Amazing green hat used to belong to one of my parents. I believe it is my mom's but I have only seen photos of it being worn by my dad 🤔

Aaanyway! I give the beer

"NICE GEUZE FINISH LAST"

A while back I read a meme from @dontdrinkbeers stating "Nice geuze finish last" and as a lover of both word play and lambics that I am it immediatly stuck! Asked him if I could use the words for a design and he didn't mind so here is the result🙃💃 #FLATLAMBICSOCIETY

Having the day off tomorrow for @brewskival so cheers to the weekend and hope I will see some of you at the festival tomorrow and saturday! 😊🤗

Have you guys tried som beers from El Pondo yet? For those who didn't know, @duckpondbrewing has a baby sibling where they are focusing on more traditional beer styles. These tree are, hefeweizen, german ale and french saison.

Do love me some pastel colours so I absolutely enjoy the clean design on these cans.

I would say both the hefeweizen and german ale are what cou can expect from the style, definetly don't think you will be disappointed!

The one that I remember the most are the french saison though. Although Im not one hundred percent clear what a french saison is. I do find this beer having the typical farmhouse notes but also like a refreshing herbal peppery flavour that definetly surprised me and made me a little bit excited!

It's friday and I find myself asking philosophical questions like;

Or maybe even the unfinished painting in the background made by yours truly? ✌️

Now let's talk about the beer, moving away from all the american hazzzeee and going for swedish pilsner made by @stockholmbrewingco. Super nice! Clean and refreshing!

Varning för långt inlägg! På svenska dessutom!

Idag vill jag prata om öl och konst, för att konsten och skapandet är något som betytt mycket för mig genom åren. Så länge jag kan minnas har jag målat på vad som helst som varit närmast i min omgivning. Har jag en penna i handen så kliar det i fingrarna. Jag har minnen av att jag som ganska liten ligger under soffbordet i vardagsrummet och ritar på undersidan av bordskivan. Hela min skoltid, till och med genom mina fem år på Chalmers har jag lyckats ta mig igenom genom att fylla varje sida i anteckningsblocket med mer krumelurer än riktiga bokstäver. För mig är ritandet en meditativ grej som gör att jag kan fokusera och dessutom blir bättre på att lyssna, vilket i dagens samhälle bara blir svårare och svårare känns det som, eller är det bara jag?

Konstnären bakom den här etiketten från @akiabrygghus heter @ollio och är en av de konstnärer som inspirerat mig sjukt mycket de senaste åren. Jag känner mig sjukt tacksam över att bo i en stad där kreativiteten finns på väggar och platser lite överallt, lagliga och olagliga.

I juli i år blev jag för första gången under min livstid med ateljé, dvs jag har ett enskilt space som jag hyr där jag bara kan få fokusera på konsten. Det är en ganska cool känsla, samtidigt som det är alldles för tidigt att säga om det kommer gynna mitt skapande eller inte. Det som är roligt i den här ekvationen och speciellt för ölmatchningen är att denna studio för många många år sen brukade tillhöra samma konstnär som är på burken alltså Ollio.

En annan sak att tillägga för er som inte redan blivit förskräckta av mitt utseende är att jag på den här bilden inte har något smink på mig, i ett försök att förklara att jag ser mig själv som en canvas i med vad jag håller på med här på instagram. Hela den här ölmatchningsgrejen kan ses som en ganska ytlig grej och en dålig ursäkt att lägga upp massa bilder på sig själv, men för mig är det ett roligt sätt att få vara kreativ utan att behöva måla en tavla. Och jag blir så oerhört glad när jag får höra från folk att de också tycker det är roligt och det värmer verkligen djupt in i själen!
