What a year it’s been 🥹 This year has taught me so much about myself and my capabilities, as well as highlighting how amazing my friends and family are. I am the luckiest girl alive to have such amazing people and these things in my life. I love you all 🫶 Next year is going to be a busy one but a great one. 💛

February: Bedgebury 10 miler & Queen Elizabeth Park Half Marathon
March: Lydd 20 miler (horrible, wouldn’t recommend), Run Whitstable Half Marathon, Finsbury Park Half Marathon & my very first marathon at Ranscombe Nature Reserve with Runbelievable Challenges, it seems it was a slippery marathon-slope from there…
April: Kent Spring Marathon with James & TCS London Marathon🏅Ran for myself, my mum & my friends that day as well as the wonderful @willowfoundation 💜 I will never forget it.
May: First Phoenix event! “Run for a Fiver” Marathon with Paul
June: Solo Phoenix marathon & Macknade Half Marathon with the wonderful wonderful @artrunclub_ 🩵💛
July: Deal Dinosaur 10k with the family & first Saturn Marathon with Paul again, where I got one of my FAVOURITE medals
August: 2x Saturn marathons, one of which was @annaaprescott ‘s first marathon 🫶, 1x Phoenix marathon & Lee Valley Velopark Half Marathon with @ewansamueldickson @mariaevanssx @jack_baker6 💙
September: SRC X BYU @sandgaterunclub with @artrunclub_ 12 yards completed with @annaaprescott making us last women standing and (by far) my longest run at this point 🤩
October: Eliza finished her Couch to 5K with her first official event 🩷 & the best/hardest/worst thing I have ever done: Runbelievable Challenges Runway 100 “I can do hard things” & “you do not yield” got me a long way, plus immense support from James, my AMAZING friends and @roger.at.the.coast
November: Phoenix Remembrance Day Marathon with @joebrew27 & my first consecutive marathons, ready to take on many more in the New Year to train for my 10 in 10!
December: Santas on the Run with @artrunclub_ , PB and finally sub 4hrs (3:44!!) with a Phoenix Riverside Marathon, another PB at Lee Valley Velopark Half Marathon supporting my amazing @ewansamueldickson doing his last half of his 12 in 12 months 🤩

2025 🩷

A year that’s taught me:
•To take it slow & take it all in.
•Injuries aren’t forever, they make us stronger.
•Cherish the crazy group of running girlies you meet in your 20s. 🫶
•How strong I am physically & mentally (mostly my knees 😅)
•How much I love spicy Margs 🍸
•It’s okay to be addicted to dates
•Show your children compassion to their hobbies
•Always kiss your partner before leaving 🩷
•Celebrate every win (there’s been a lot in this household this year) 🏆
•Be the best version of you, so your child will be the best version of themselves
•Me & the girlies can do a backyard ultra (WTF?!😆)
•Love everyday, every upset, every hard moment, every easy moment & every milestone

2025, thank you 🫶

One of my favourite days, maybe ever. Joint last woman standing with @annaaprescott and it was an absolute honour to run 80k with you like absolute nutters.

“You do not yield.”

So immensely proud of myself for doing such a hard thing, and so proud of everyone else who ran so much further than they thought and pushed themselves so hard. @artrunclub_ you’ve done us all proud. Massive thank you to @lewiswils0n & @sandgaterunclub for organising an amazing event & also to @lydialton for everything for us to have such a fun time all together. Everyone was so supportive & kind it made a world of difference. Massive shoutout to @roger.at.the.coast for helping everyone & peeling my oranges ❤️

Bring on the next one!! 💪

Yesterday, wow! First BYU, first marathon hit, then went on to hit over 66km 🥹 it’s was one of the hardest thing I put my mind & body through, lap 10 was my time the pain wasn’t worth anymore! But I couldn’t thank everyone from @artrunclub_ enough for the support & good vibes! 🩷 (love you guys&girlies)

Thank you to @danfaraone for all your love & support & fuelling in between my laps - love you millions 🩷

So proud of everyone at our club and everyone who took part, so many cheers, smiles & PBS 🏆✨

Also massive shout out to @sandgaterunclub for putting on such a top BYU!!
