end of august ~

a very stressful but very sweet month✨ i hosted my very first ever styled shoot on my own which took all my energy and time - i loved every part of it though!

A little over a year ago, Madalyn reached out to me telling me that I am Addi‘s favorite photographer and that she really wanted Madalyn to book me for a proposal in the future in Utah.

If you’re a photographer, you know how much of an honor it is for another photographer to love your work so much to want you to capture such a special moment for them. You also poop your pants a little bit because you know that if they see you in another state, in a pretty place, where they just so happen to be, while also being dressed nice, you’re done for. So that means you have to be sneaky about where you say you’re going and you wear a disguise LOL

Madalyn schemed with Addi’s cousins and they booked a session with Addi at a spot they loved a couple months out from the proposal so that Addi wouldn’t be sussed out as to why Madalyn wanted her to take off work from her day job and drive and hour to a garden on a random weekday. GENIUS.

The weather in Utah that day was back and forth from winter to spring to summer so our emotions were toyed with but it ended up being PERFECT (and cold). After Madalyn popped the question and they had their moment, she turned to point to me to say “SURPRISE NUMBER TWO I BOOKED YOUR DREAM PHOTOG” like what even

AND THEN

Addi runs to her bag and whips out her ring for Madelyn!!!!!!!! She said she’s had that bad boy sitting in her bag for a long time waiting for this. How iconic bye

And the we frolicked around the park and then went to Cheesecake Factory

And then *surprise number 3* I had them model for @kennedibrookephotography and I at the Capitol building 🤭 photos coming soon

And now we’re all the 4 best friends tht anybody could have. The end 🥰
