The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything, is 42. at least that's what this past year's lesson was. Hell of a good month to close it out. #30daysofJune

Berlin 🖤 ➡️ Munich ❤️ ➡️ Frankfurt 💛 Although I was disappointed with my marathon result, the positives of the trip still win out! I ran my fourth World Major Marathon ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I had the best support crew cheering me on 🙌🏼 I checked off a bucket list item of going to Oktoberfest in Munich 🍻 I learned so much through walking tours in Berlin and Munich 🚶🏻‍♀️ And I am so incredibly lucky to have adventures across the world with old friends, new friends, and the best of friends 💕

🎶 These streets will make you feel brand new 🎶 New York City Marathon you were hot, humid and incredible ♥️ 🗽 🍎 This was one tough race, the record breaking hot summer weather on a November day added an extra challenge to the mix. However, the organization, the crowds and atmosphere more than made up for it! 🥰 So so thankful for the friends who were out on the streets cheering (even if I didn’t manage to spot you all!). Seeing Andrew & Kira after the Queensborough Bridge was incredible plus André unexpectedly popping up at 35km made my day I almost cried 😭 I was 30 mins slower than my goal time, but this race earned an A+++ for best race atmosphere 📣 I just have words for Mr Weatherman - sort it out! I had to stop twice later on in the race to completely refill my water bottle with Gatorade as I was so scared of dehydration 🥵 Thank you as always to the @roguerunners coaches for getting me race ready. This marathon is the one I’m most proud of. My mindset was strong throughout even when the temperatures meant my pace had to slow down. I can’t wait to one day come back to New York and take on this marathon again.. but only once we have written confirmation from Mr Weatherman that it will be normal November temperatures 🤣🤣 So proud of everyone who ran on Sunday in super rough conditions. Especially both Alison and Dekel! We did it! 🥇 ⏱: 4:07:16 #tcsnewyorkcitymarathon #newyorknewyork #marathon #running

Too hot to handle! This was definitely one of my toughest race. @nycmarathon was hardcore, beats you down with heat, humidity, and hills. Thank you for all the cheers, I heard it all and tried my best to respond but I was also fading away 😶‍🌫️. Congratulations to everyone who endured this November Summer marathon 💪 We did it!! 🌈 Just here to spread the love but here’s a brief history lesson. Predating western LGBTQ terminologies and identification, in ancient Indigenous traditions, “two-spirit” people (possessing both masculine and feminine spirit) were regarded as the most revered among their tribes and were assigned significant tasks that were integral to their social structure. They were also believed to be lucky in love and possessed the ability to bestow it unto others. Individuality and love without limitations were naturally celebrated. Homophobia, misogyny, toxic patriarchal structures and all other western diseases came on the boat and through pillaging, enslavement and colonization has polluted and erased many of these core beliefs over time. Hatred, fear and prejudice run deep and it is our responsibility to look within ourselves and assess where it derives from. At the core of everything is love. It is the very source that drives our existence and the only cure to this world’s many social ills. It transcends sexuality, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs and all socially constructed ways of existing as our spiritual connection as human beings occupying this planet is dependent on it alone. Love is the answer, that is all. So naturally it should be celebrated in every form ❤️
