Week 4 of the #2026SummerBbqTour is in the books with multiple stops at a wedding in Watertown and neighborhood association gathering on beautiful Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury. We were able to serve some delicious Q to a bunch of awesome guests along with having a blast working with our friends @mobilepubevents . Thanks to our clients Steve, Tracey and Garrett for the opportunity to serve your guests! No rest for the weary as we are firing up the smoker again for multiple stops this weekend. Tis the season to get your Union Pig Q! See y'all out on the road! #PitmasterLife #ctbbq #BBQ

Still floating on Cloud 9 over our Union Pig BBQ win for Best Original Wing at Wednesday's Watertown High Football 2025 Wingfest. Thanks to Lauren from The Local 63, I was lucky enough to get in the last minute, but never did I imagine we would land on top. Special thanks to all of the Watertown restaurants who competed. Not only do I enjoy frequenting all of your spots, I have loved collabing with many of you and consider all of you friends. Finally, congrats to both Ordinary Joes and Martino's Pizza, who also landed top honors in this fun night. Bbq takes passion and love, but it also takes a ton of time and patience, and while I never do this for awards or accolades, it is super swell to get some! Peace, Love & BBQ to you all!! #pitmasterlife

Another great day at the Brass City Brew & Que! So honored to once again serve as organizer & judge for our Amateur Pitmaster Comp. These guys are no doubt serious about their bbq, but also a blast to hang around with! Special thanks to fellow judges Jeff from @hindsightbbq , Wayne & Steve from Texas Roadhouse. Thanks to everyone who participated and Congrats to the Meat Sweats for their repeat win as Grand Champion!
