Sometimes the best photo sessions are the ones you never plan.

Today I was at the park getting my own branding photos taken when my friend and I noticed a group of girls off to the side. They looked like they had stepped straight out of a Pinterest board, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how cute they were. So, against my better judgment (and with a little bit of courage), I ran over and asked if they’d be interested in some photos.

A few minutes later, what started as a random conversation turned into an impromptu photo shoot.

Moments like this remind me why I love photography so much. It’s not always about the perfectly planned sessions or months of preparation. Sometimes it’s about taking a chance, meeting complete strangers, and creating something beautiful together.

So here’s your reminder: say hi to the strangers, take the shot, and don’t be afraid to follow the little nudges that won’t leave you alone. You never know what memories might come from it. 🤍
