Did you have to pay for your apprenticeship?

No I just demolished a wall, repaired some drywall, painted, redid flooring, framed in a boiler, and decorated to make sick penthouse loft out of a green and pink attic.

Got to spend the weekend down in Northern Arizona running the Mogollon Monster 100. Such a fun time running up and down the Mogollon (mug-ee-yun) Rim on some incredibly beautiful and rugged trails, both alone and with my bros. And I only lost a couple toenails. #type2fun #ultrarunning

Beautiful day in Anchorage, Alaska! Hatcher Pass park. Such a nice break from the heat in Florida as well.

"Remember, no man is a failure who has friends." #ItsAWonderfulLife

Yeah that's my house 👍 I had intended to post pictures from our fun family trip through Utah today. Instead I'm sharing about how having 9 cottonwood trees fall on my house made me feel like the richest man in town.

No sooner had I watched the trees come down from my kitchen, then I had friends, neighbors, family, and strangers running over to help. People helped with initial clean-up and repairs, took care of our kids, fed us, and opened their homes to us. And even more friends extend offers of help and continued to check in on us.

Despite an obviously frustrating and sad event, it's hard for me to feel anything but really grateful and loved. And it's hard to put a price on that (but I'm sure the insurance adjuster will try).

My favorite part of going to northern Utah for the Bear 100 was getting to stay with my Grandma and Grandpa Anderson. They fed us, chatted with us, and made Aaron, Brett, and I feel right at home. Hanging out with them at their little farm house before and after the race reminded me of the love and magic of grandparents. ❤️

"Well, a wiser fellow than myself once said: 'Sometimes you eat the bear...and sometimes the bear eats you.'" #TheBigLebowski

This time I ate. The Bear 100 was just as scenic and fun as I had hoped 😅

Hello there!! I wanted to connect on behalf of @gnarcytribe. We've got some seriously rad jewelry lined up, and I reckon you'd be the ideal candidate to rock our latest collection of tough accessories!

If you dig it, we'd love to hook you up with three pieces on the house! Yup, you read that right – absolutely FREE!

Just shoot a DM over to our main account @gnarcytribe (if you dont see a DM button, just reply to any of their stories), and our guy Shawn will sort you out pronto! But hey, don't sleep on it – spots are filling up fast, and we'd hate for you to miss out on the action! Cheers, mate! 🤙

When I say we did Very Alaskan Things today, I mean it wholeheartedly. 18mi round trip across the Knik River, which is not frozen solid whatsoever, to the base of Knik Glacier and back. Glacier-cave exploring, bad Ice Age jokes, trail sushi, water crossings, extreme overflow paranoia and about 9 return miles of ice water.
I hope with all my being that at least some of this extraordinary glacier is still intact, that the river still freezes enough, that the huge icebergs and caverns and ice monoliths are still here when my son is old enough to travel on foot to this spot.
Maybe @pattiegonia can come back to #alaska and help us save this beautiful place too!
