The past couple of days have been so hectic that I haven’t had the chance to post this, but after many years, I have FINALLY graduated with a BFA with an emphasis in Drawing and a minor in Asian Studies! 🥳 It’s funny how life can be; there will be times when you don’t feel like you’re on the right path and feel lost, but everything happens for a reason, or at least that’s what I believe. Years ago, when I was pursuing my associate’s degree in science at TMCC, I genuinely felt that it was something I wasn’t passionate about. I decided to take a break from school to work full-time and help support my family financially. That break lasted about three years. During this break, I thought I would never go back to school and graduate from college. But if it weren’t for the support of my family encouraging me to go back to school, I never would have been able to experience so many new opportunities. Not only was I able to go back to school for something that I love, which is Art, but I was able to do it alongside my sister! I’m so grateful to have had her support along the way; I couldn’t have done it without her. We had so much fun during our journey in college. We both had the chance to study abroad in South Korea together, where we made so many great memories and met some amazing friends! So I wanted to say thank you so much to my family and friends for always being there for me these past years. 💗 I’m really excited for the next journey to come!🥰 (Also I didn’t mean for the middle finger 🫣🤣)
