Highlight reel for my 2025 ✨Some favorite, social media worthy memories in 90 seconds.

And on a real level, what you don’t see is how lonely this year felt. How unproductive and directionless I once believed it was. The loss of an old life I was still grieving, still not making music, wanting more than anything to leave Indy, applying for jobs for over a year with the universe saying “lol nah bitch, you’re not done there yet” and the overwhelming feeling of stuck. However, and most importantly, I also achieved a shit ton of growth.

I completed a full year without drinking a sip of alcohol. I was never a big drinker, and at first it was simply out of resentment, but then it was for my mind, body, and connection—When I told people about my “dry 2025” many of them had their own stories to share about alcohol, and I was honored by the deep convos that happened. That was the best gift I got from it.

I stuck with weekly therapy, unlearned patterns, my need for validation from a partner, and was committed to growing alooone for a year. Process wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely better than last time 😂. It’s so difficult to change your brain and inner dialogues you learned in childhood, but bishes I’m working on it and I’m proud af.

If my glass is half full, which it is half of the time, it was a really good year. But to get real again, the current state of America still hits me hard. I’m constantly thinking about those who are being traumatized by this disgusting administration. My heart and fight is never not with them.

Because of that, I got more involved in local politics this year, went to protests even though I was always alone.

I helped wildlife, organized a music festival, became an aunt to the cutest niece, got to see my best friend and sister become an incredible mom. I GOT TO SEE PETEY USA LIVE!! Caught up with friends who I don’t see as much as I want, and when I’m with them they breathe life back into me. Didn’t use the word “slay” once unironically. Oh and dogs. Lots of dogs. Including Frankie 🖤

Thankful for all who were a part of my 2025. Bringing “joy is resistance” with me into 2026.

This is the start ✨
