Giving Black 2026. A creative health campaign built by myself, @iraalecia , @lea.tare and the Sickle Cell Society rooted in community, that reimagines how charity can engage young people around blood donation and sickle cell awareness.

From our sold-out Giving Black Social to 60 donors together at Brixton Donor Centre, this year was a firm reminder of what can happen when culture, creativity and health meet. Thank you to everyone who showed up to the events, volunteered their time, shared their creative talents as models, designers. Photographers, Videographers, Writers & more helping us bring this campaign to life. Thanks to BBC Radio London for the feature too!

day two of the ala kul hike. reaching the 3,900 m pass felt so rewarding after hours of climbing steep trails while struggling to breathe in the thin air🥹 little did we know that the rest of the hike would bring thunderstorms, hail, and rain. crossing rivers while already soaking wet and knowing we would end up in a cold yurt made me question why i was doing this. but when the sun came out the next day, my shoes dried in the sun, and we could warm up in the hot springs, it was all forgotten. the views and the crew were both 10/10 🩵
