flyer for @kogohome

this one is from 2024 but still one of my favourite designs ever !

newfriends* after party
flyer for @dostmeansfriend 💙

played with a lottttt of textures on this one & made the asterisks the star of the show (my favourite part is the little one shining on the word “after” :”)

thank you @rajidselim for bringing me on for this one 🫂

mixed media animation for titles & short sequences 📝✂️

first time adding digital design elements before printing the frames for mixed media - this was a 36 hour sprint and one of the most time consuming things i’ve ever done but well worth it for the result!

title motion graphics & end credits card design (not pictured)

my first foray into motion graphics & wow it’s so hard but i loooove how it turned out
starts out as gibberish and transforms into entirely 0’s, 1’s and easter eggs of lyrics, mantras, manifestations, & era-specific language for REHMA and her forthcoming project ANOMALY

practical prop design 🤓

furthered the narrative of this music video by creating advertisements / PSA’s from a fake mass surveillance organisation. REHMA & @elise.mov take worldbuilding *seriously* and i’m so grateful to have been part of their process!

RECESS 🛝
flyer for @kogohome x @verci.la

created a custom cross-stitch type design and built the imagery around the concept of playground antics and recess! a bouncy castle was present at the event so we had to get one in the flyer toooo

big s/o to @amitpivots & @avanikhorana for giving me complete free reign w this one ✨

3 days in a row of good ass music™️ last weekend by some of my favorite desi djs, producers, & artists.

@_zainabnyc dropped her first ep! (run that shit up!!)

@dostmeansfriend threw their first full venue takeover at @elsewhere! (with all the homies in every room!!)

and closed the weekend with @baalti.mp3’s nowadays debut! (i was not involved in that in any way but i woke my ass up for a 9am-12pm sunday morning set and i deserve to document this!!!!!)

so grateful to be a part of this wave of brown music pushing every little boundary our brains have created. never would have dreamt we could have a packed weekend like this with the kind of music and communities i needed when i first started raving/partying 13+ years ago. thank you for the trust behind the decks and can’t wait to boogie w y’all again very soon 💟
