"Can I see some of your art?” 🌸

A small glimpse into some of the weddings and events we’ve had the privilege of bringing to life over the past year!

So many beautiful celebrations, so many wonderful clients, and each with a vision completely their own. We’ve loved getting to take those visions, build upon them, and bring them to life through flowers.

And now, we’re in full swing of fall wedding season with so much more beauty ahead. We can’t wait to share more of the stories, florals, and celebrations coming to life this season!

Not all beaches make it onto our “you HAVE to go here” list. 🌊

But Playa Conchal?
Absolutely.

Here’s why this little stretch of Guanacaste keeps us coming back. 🇨🇷🤎

Save this for your Costa Rica trip.

Allow me to reintroduce myself!

My name is Jennie and I founded Sojourning Studio Photography in 2022 after a dozen years of operating my previous award-winning photography business. Sometimes, there's just something about a fresh start!

I have been photographing weddings, families, portraits, events, and sports since 2009. I got official in 2010, and I started all over again in 2022.

I've been fortunate enough to see many of my clients' families bloom from photographing their engagement to their wedding to their maternity sessions to photographing their newborns to photographing all of the chapters they've lived through and all of the children they've brought into the world. I've also been fortunate enough to photograph presidents, mayors, musicians, artists, activists, religious leaders, and everyday incredible people.

I've always believed in story-telling, and being able to do that visually has been a great joy of mine over these past 17 years that I've spent behind the camera.

Every time that you trust me with your special moments, I feel a deep sense of gratitude. I can't wait to see what we create together next.

💜💜💜

An afternoon where beautiful design, meaningful conversation, and the future of weddings came together at the ultra sexy @nedsclubwashingtondc ✨🥂

Here’s a peek inside Behind the Bouquet: An Insider Conversation on Wedding Trends & What’s Next for the Industry — an intimate luncheon with some of DC’s incredible wedding industry creatives and tastemakers.

There’s something special about being in a room filled with people who are not only shaping beautiful celebrations, but also thoughtfully pushing our industry forward. I left feeling inspired, connected, and excited for what’s next. 🤍

Thank you @washingtonianweddings @amyemoeller @nedsclubwashingtondc for the lovely invitation and such a beautiful afternoon. ✨
