🎶 Now here’s a question for Baltimore music fans: What’s your favorite Cris Jacobs or The Bridge song? 🎸 80 EPISODES IN, AND WE GOT A BALTIMORE LEGEND! If you’ve been following Baltimore music for any length of time, chances are you’ve seen @cris_jacobs on stage somewhere. For our 80th episode, we welcomed Cris into the Lounge for a conversation about his career and five songs recorded live in the studio, including TWO unreleased tracks from his upcoming album! We talked about how he got his start, his years with The Bridge, going solo, and everything that’s happened along the way. We also got into his new ownership of @the_8_x_10 , a place that’s meant a lot to Baltimore musicians and music fans over the years. Cris shared how it all came together and what we can expect from the venue moving forward. Having Cris join us for Episode 80 was a pretty big deal, and we’re excited to finally share it! Episode 80 is available now on YouTube, Spotify, and all podcast platforms. More photos from Illuminate's Grace WINDOW laser art installation from the last week. The installation has viewers witness 25 laser beams shining from the roof of the Fairmont, soaring over Huntington Park, and illuminating the interior of Grace Cathedral through its famous stained glass window, the Rose Window. Debuting in 2023, Grace WINDOW was created by @illuminatethearts in collaboration with the laser space cannon expertise from @nusaltlaser, @gracecathedral, and @fairmontsanfrancisco. Originally the art installation included only 12 lasers, but in the 2024 iteration, it has grown to 25, one laser for each stained glass panel of the Rose Window. And now in 2026, with greater control over each individual laser, Grace WINDOW returned last week to light up San Francisco once again. Viewers had the opportunity to experience Grace WINDOW from inside Grace Cathedral and from outside as the lasers continued to light up Nob Hill until dawn. The surreal and spiritual experience included a live cinematic soundtrack of improvised music performed by Tim Weed, Daniel Berkman, and Alex Kelly, who tailor the music to the dancing lasers overhead. This is one of the can't miss San Francisco events so be sure to stay tuned for the next one! 📷: @adcristal for @gracecathedral #gracecathedral #sanfrancisco #sf #nobhill #nikoncreators @gracecathedral @illuminatethearts @nusaltlaser @fairmontsanfrancisco @nikonusa @timweedofficial @danielberkman @akcello @bendavissf @pyramation
