BTC SHOW 2026 FORT LAUDERDALE FLORIDA!!

Truly one of my favorite weekends in August as a hairstylist!

This is such a fun inspiring weekend so blessed to be apart of this beautiful industry, with so many talented stylist from all over the world. I love this event every year it leaves me feeling so motivated and excited for the opportunity & all that’s to come as a stylist to learn and grow and never give up on Dreams, thank you to each and every client who sits in my chair everyday and allows me to do what I love so much, IM SO thankful for all the sweet friendships this industry has brought! I love you BTC and can’t wait to see what next year has in store🤍

that’s a wrap for btc oneshot 2026.. 🥹

so sad to leave all of my friends but so ready to be back in the studio re inspired by all of the greatest artists in the industry. this marks my second year at BTC and i already cant wait for the next.

to everyone who helped me get here, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💝 i look forward to bringing new content, fresh concepts, and lots of exciting news to you soon.. 🤫

Going back to school for hair at 28 years old, in a lot of ways, felt like taking a step backwards. Starting over is scary. Fast forward only 18 months later, and I’ve never felt more at home. My only regret is not doing this 10 years ago. As an apprentice, I can’t think of anything more exciting and motivating (and slightly overwhelming! In the best way!) than being surrounded by so many top industry professionals for the weekend.

Inspired by my honey bb @akcolour who absolutely changed my life with this colour trick on my @bellamihairpro extensions ✨ Aaron is seriously the best 🥹🩷

Just like natural hair, extensions fade, get brassy and need a refresh once in a while, especially if you live somewhere where there is hard water, harsh metals or well water. Using a filter like @purely.solutions can really help your extension colour last but even then, you’ll likely need to touch your clients extensions up at some point! (Yes even brunettes need a gloss!!)

Anyways, back to class we go… 📝

I’m using 2 mixtures:
- 1:1 of Redken Gel lacquers + Pro Oxide 10 Volume (I used shade 7N here)
- 1:1 conditioner to water (creates sort of a liquidy paste)

And:
- 2 colour brushes (1 for each mixture)
- a comb
- one clean brush

I first lay out my extensions on aluminum foil and ensure they are sticking to the paper by spraying down some water. Next, I apply my root shade, bringing it down past the root colour just a bit to make sure I’m covering any brassiness. Next, I use a clean comb to separate the hairs. Then, I apply my conditioner mixture just slightly overlapping that root colour to just about 1-1,5 inches below it. Finally, using a clean BRUSH, I diffuse everything and wipe down on a towel between every second or third swipe. I let process for 10 minutes max, then rinse & purple shampoo bath if needed.
