How Ranger College Sophomore Anthony Kelley Went from 90 MPH to 95 MPH in Just 12 Weeks

I’m definitely going to miss having @akelley_4 in the gym. He’s been fun to work with this summer!

He made some tremendous progress this in a short amount of time.

Throwing velocity: 90 ➡️ 95mph

Sumo Deadlift: 335 ➡️ 365lbs

Box Squat: 245 ➡️ 275lbs

Vertical: 25.6 ➡️ 29.9”

Transverse Broad Jump: 7’3 ➡️ 8’5

Bench Press: 195 ➡️ 205lbs

This kid has an incredibly high ceiling. Can’t wait to see what he’s going to do on the mound this year at Ranger! 💪

🚨New Athlete Alert🚨

Y’all welcome Anthony Kelley to the #Arete crew!

@akelley_4 is going into his sophomore year at Ranger College and is looking to increase his size, strength, and improve his explosive power this summer. His goal is to develop and improve as much as he can during his two years at Ranger so he can earn a scholarship to play at a good 4 year program.

Our training objective over the next few months is going to be focused on adding mass to his posterior chain and increase his explosive and maximal strength so he can improve his velocity on the mound.

I’m excited to begin working with Anthony this summer. This dude has a great frame for a pitcher. I can’t wait to see what he’s going to be able to do on the mound once he gets up to 195lbs!

Starting metrics:

Sumo Deadlift: 335lbs
Throwing velocity: 90mph
Vertical: 25.6
Transverse Broad Jump: 7’3
Body Weight: 178lbs
Bench Press: 195lbs

Send us a DM if you’re ready to start working hard this summer, so you can take your game to the next level!
