The last time I saw my dad, we held hands. I knew it would be the final one…Miss you Dad!! ❤️

🩶Thankful for the good, solid men in my life. Their tangible and intangible gifts made my life better.

🩶 Grateful for the numerous coaches and mentors who were on the front lines impacting my life, and my children’s lives! Some of the best influence comes from our youth coaches!

🩶And deeply grateful for the new family additions of Godly men like my son-in-law Wallace impacting the next generation!

last night we got to honor my daddy and watch him coach his last game at LCA - words I never thought I’d say!!! I’ve never seen those baseball stands so packed. full of people who love him and have supported his love for the game from the very beginning.

I’ve only ever known dad as a coach - it is the only thing Luke and I have ever seen him do. his love for the game is one I cannot explain. although a huge chapter of our lives is coming to a close, I am so grateful to have grown up on this field and be known as “coach’s daughter” - no other title I’d rather take pride in

to all of you who showed up last night, I cannot thank you enough. It meant the absolute world to dad and my family. this was a night we will be talking about for a long time.

if you know dad at all, you know he loves the game.
countless years of blood, sweat, and tears all for the game he loves and ultimately to glorify the Lord and the gift He has given him. thank you Jesus for parents who love you and use their gifts to glorify you in all that they say and do.

LCA Summer Program ✅

To our LCA student-athletes and the families who make this possible: you rolled out of bed before dawn, fuelled by protein and purpose. You leaned into every drill, every rep and learned firsthand what it means to “fight the good fight” (2 Timothy 4:7) and to “do all…as for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23). Parents, your early-morning drive-shares and late-night meal preps never went unnoticed.

But don’t let today’s checkmark fool you it’s your start. Keep “pressing toward the goal of the upward call in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14). As iron sharpens iron, you’ve sharpened each other (Proverbs 27:17). So when college apps, SATs, or the next season beckon, remember: this journey is only just beginning. But you’re build for it you’re built to last beautifully and wonderfully made to withstand any trim that comes your way.

Stay hungry. Stay humble. Stay committed to greatness. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” (James 1:2-3)

Let’s build on this momentum and continue to build LEGACY.
