Absolutely wondrous weekend of Gregory Alan Isakov and the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks. My heart will never be quite the same. May we all be so blessed as to get moments like these every now and then, when the music and the place and the company create space for emotion and energy to flow where it had been sitting still, tightly wound, rigid and stuck. Cheers to the unsticking and the flow. Thanks be to the universe for musicians. Also, seemingly unrelated but not, sheep doodles might be my new favorite kind of dog.

Ive been home in Idaho for a bit over a week now. Ive been taking time to reflect on an epic season with @seabaheli! The terrain and the skiing are in my opinion the best in the world but what really makes this experience special is the people- the team! That is what keeps bringing me back year after year and will continue to! Heres to the future and a huge thank you to all the guests who came out to ski with us this year!

The Third Amigo

When Lucas first joined the Absinthe crew, he busted in guns blazing. He immediately earned himself the opening segment of 𝗡𝗼𝘄𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 and landed on the movie cover with a photo of him straight-lining this section of 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀 on the first day the trio stepped to it.

Scope more of Debari’s all-in approach to riding the unridable in 𝗡𝗼𝘄𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 on Absinthe.TV 📺📱 💻

How 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀 got its name:

On little more than a hunch and a prayer, DCP, @BlairHabenicht, and @LucasDebari waited out a late season storm-cycle in Haines, Alaska that lasted into the early days of May.
It was a long wait and a big gamble because in this part of the world, snowfall that late into the spring almost always spelled out H-O-T-P-O-W D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R.
Almost always.

When the storm finally passed, all of the other film crews had long since bailed, and the Absinthe crew had the Chilkat Mountains all to themselves.

Bluebird. No wind. 18-inches of fresh. Perfect.

Like kids locked in a candy store, they had all the time in the world to select which lines to charge and when to tag them.

For two days, the crew clipped-up for 𝗡𝗼𝘄𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲, building momentum with their eye on a daunting face guarded by a parking lot sized cornice.

On the third and final day, they scored a legendary session in this stellar nook of the Chilkats and named it 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀.

If you live in Juneau you know…. We live at the base of multiple mountains that are the perfect terrain storm for avalanches… SO… the awesome pilots @coastal.helicopters and the local avalanche experts give us a little show every so often… #controlledchaos #Juneau #alaska #avalanche #therealjuneau
