We just passed the 11 year mark of 0% turnover on our team at Lightward. Celebrating because that’s a really, really cool milestone. That means a lot of things have had to happen, and not happen, for THIS to happen. 🤯

Thankful for our team, what we have made together and all the epic stuff we’re going to make. I have so many thoughts about how we can make work better for people in the world, but for now I’m sharing this epic moment out loud. Nothing but respect and love for our team. 🥰❤️

Can’t wait to celebrate with the crew out in the UK for our team retreat in a few weeks!

Some lovely friends in our community warmed our new penthouse this past weekend. Surreal, tbh. Isaac grew up barefoot on a farm and I grew up asking for lunch money. So to celebrate this weekend was a part of our story we are so grateful for.

It was one of those nights that went by in the blink of an eye. Chef Andy and his crew crushed the menu and cocktails, everyone looked so beautiful, and we celebrated all that is and honestly all that’s to come for not only Isaac and me, but everyone in the room.

That’s what’s special about our friends - we celebrate and cheer one another on. That kind of spirit was in the room that night — a lot of people left with new friends (my fav thing) 🥰…

We always want our home to be a place where whoever walks into it feels a sense of belonging, a deep belief in what’s possible and a safe place to be all the beautiful facets of being human. ❤️

We have a lot of things and projects and trips coming up that I’m pumped about - including a new app/product we’re launching soon (stay tuned!!) - but for now, just feeling really grateful for it all!

So thrilled to share that we hit an all-time high of revenue sharing that every teammate is receiving on their paychecks.

I’ve traveled the world and have met so many people in my life and I hope to continue doing that for a long long time. I keep thinking about the fact that I always return to the belief that love is in the DNA of being alive and worth celebrating in every way we can.

So fortunate to have friends all over the world who I love celebrating - at their weddings, in their darkest moments, during seasons of change, and everything in between.

& I can’t wait to love everyone I have yet to meet. 🥰

People ask me how we built this. Honestly? We just didn’t stop.

Isaac and I have been building Lightward Inc together for over a decade - as husbands, as business partners, as two neurodivergent people figuring it out in real time. There were hard years. Years where we didn’t have the language for what we were navigating. Years where we were building the plane while flying it, while also trying to take care of each other. 😅 Thank god for therapy IYKYK.

And somehow, on the other side of all of that - an 8 figure global business. A team that has never had turnover. Work that actually means something.

And it feels like we’re just getting started.

The foundation is solid. The vision is clearer than it’s ever been. And we’re still here, still building, still choosing each other every single day.

To anyone building something real, something slow, something true to who you actually are - keep going. Keep going. Keep going. (Thanks for coining that term in my brain, @drock)

You can build whatever you want, however you want.
