Dears! I’m happy to announce that four photographs from my ongoing multidisciplinary project I (see) RED will be part of a group show, “Sortir de l’ombre”, organized by @collectif_handy at @labellevilloise this Saturday, January 17. I would love to thank those who made my “coming out of the shadows” possible by believing in me and my vision, and by giving me their time and creative energy through participating in the realization of the first part of the project in February of 2024, absolutely for free. I couldn’t even feed my crew; damn, I couldn’t even feed myself back then. But that was then. I survived and proved that #thistooisaninspiration. Thank you, Mahdi @godenbboy, for being the best assistant ever and for giving me another chance after I had let you down when I was deeply depressed in 2021. And thank you to his production @ehrod.prod for helping with logistics and equipment. For styling the monster, thank you to our head stylist @lolamaqueda, her assistant Akito @akito_duc and his team, as well as Wisnel Milien @wisnel_milien for giving us this amazing transparent dress Sasha is wearing in this photograph. As for the music, thank you, Daniel Avery @danielmarkavery, for inspiring me to see the ultra truth and for becoming a part of this project without even knowing it. His track Near Perfect is the unofficial OST of the project. Thank you, Artem @artem.sadovnikov the project’s cameraman, for trusting my vision with no questions asked. He’s also an Avery’s fan btw, and that’s exactly why we hit it off right away. And last but not least, thank you to my newly found friend and talented artist Katya @tselouilloux for illustrating this poster and all the merch (it’ll be available on the 17th at La Bellevilloise or you can DM me). We are working on the prequel of this story - an illustrated zine with my epic poem « Vagina Monologue » P.S. And thank you to all the women in my life — you are absolutely the best. Words are not enough to express how grateful I am to be surrounded by such powerful and talented women. All my life, I’ll be showing you how much you mean to me through my art. You are forever in me, my beloved monsters.✨💅
