💖💖APPRECIATION POST 💖💖
I used to feel embarrassed when people said, “All you do is go to Disney.” I could always find reasons like special holiday treats, new merchandise, parades, or fireworks shows. But the real reason is to visit my Disney family. Over the years, my Disney family has grown significantly, and it has expanded even more this year. I return each trip for them. I had no business running the half marathon without training, and it could have been an even tougher race since I did it alone. However, my Disney family supported me every step of the way, and I succeeded because of them! I appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know! See you on my next trip, or I hope you visit Shawny from Aulani. 😉🌺✨🌈🌴☀️

This group, these people, the participants, the stories, the joy, the magic, and everything in between. These were the things that made this race series special. I will miss being part of this amazing group, but this is not goodbye forever.

I will see these amazing cast members at the parks, the participants at other races around the country (especially in SoCal), and we can all continue to make memories together. Think back on the Disneyland Half Marathon Series with all the love and magic that it created for us all.

Just keep running. Get out and be active and come say hi if you ever see me in the wild, I would love to catch up with everyone.

IT’S ME…MR. SMEE! And this morning’s #Disneyland10K was quite the place to be! We used our imagination to conquer some miles and managed to finish still as first mate…as you can see. That leaves us one more race until officially being DOPEY to DUMBO. 💚💜💖🩶 Not bad for following treasure maps and wearing a silly hat! 🤪🏴‍☠️🗺️

This year was nothing short of incredible! A lot of firsts: Rose Parade, trip overseas, opening of a theme park, and tons of memories made with friends. I may be in debt now but I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world!! Also sorry to all the people that are in these photos that I couldn’t tag. IG has a limit sorry!!

As 2025 wraps up, so to does my time with Corporate Social Responsibility at DLR! I’m beyond grateful for the experience of being a part of this hard-working team: from supporting giving campaigns and Disney VoluntEARS projects, im simply honored to have brought more light and support to Anaheim, a community I’m proud to also belong to ❤️🤍✨Bonus project in Shanghai too, which was a joy to have been a part of!

Everything I’ve learned has helped prepare me for my next career chapter, which is with Disneyland Resort’s Internal Communications team! Ch’EARS to 2026 and new adventures! (And you’ll still catch me rocking that VoluntEARS t-shirt as a project lead 😉)
