i’m SO incredibly grateful for this new season and have already been so blessed by it… (swipe for more)

though whenever i start missing things i take a quick look at my camera roll. yes, i check my calendar for when i can see friends and family again but i also realize how much these people and experiences make me ME. and even more so, how intentional and incredible GOD is!!!

with so much change and so many exciting but hard things going on not for just me but for so many people i love, i’ve had to work extra hard to wake up every day and remind myself of these truths:

we were CREATED to glorify God. that is our sole true purpose. EVERYTHING about life goes back to that.

while i wish i could stay in close relationship with every person i know and grow close with every single person i’m around and hear their stories and their lives, its just not possible. because God made us FINITE.

but that gives us even MORE reason to surrender and to give everything to Him!!!

because the thing is we actually aren’t good enough… BUT GOD IS. we weren’t created to hold the world in our hands. we weren’t even created to hold our own LIFE in our hands. how freeing is that?!?! all we have to do is steward what He’s given us.

we were created with INHERENT WORTH. meaning we don’t have to do anything to earn value! we already have value just by being made in the image of God.

i’ve talked about it before and i won’t stop talking about it because if there’s anything i’ve learned these past two months it’s that Jesus IS life. not just a part of my life, not just the most important part of my life, but IS life.

there’s already been really hard days. days where i don’t want to surrender to God’s will for my life, where i want to control it on my own. days where i get hurt or anxious or rejected. days where friends and family are going THROUGH it and i have no idea what to do.

but then i realize… it’s not even ABOUT me. which at first sounds sad, but the more you think about it the more you realize how incredible that actually is.

because what do you mean i don’t have to strive for worth and approval and love? that i can just be myself?

what do you mean i have the opportunity to
