It was such a pleasure as ever to spend the day at beautiful @chateaulacoste where art, landscape, and friendship so effortlessly entwine.

Deeply grateful to @georginacarolinecohen for such a thoughtful presentation and impeccable organisation as always, bringing together inspired and beautifully curated bodies of work by @rashidjohnson , @shereehovsepian , and their circle of friends to include amongst others @sanfordbiggers , @annie_morris_studio @idriskhan_studio , @joelmesler @tylersphotos @chinatowntaylor @hankwillisthomas , just to name a few …

It was particularly wonderful to meet Tyler Mitchell @tylersphotos in person, whose work I’ve long admired. And as always, such a treat to spend time with dear friends @annie_morris_studio and @idriskhan_studio whose company is always a joy - laughter guaranteed 😘 @joelmesler you were so very truly missed ❤️

A gorgeous lunch, exquisite setting, perfect light and wonderful company - just what the dr ordered !🫶🏻

Ghanaian + American RCA Digital direction student Akwetey Orraca-Tetteh explores the idea of ‘synesthetic materiality’ in which his different areas of interest from music, media and technology are combined to rethink the future of art as it also relates to ancestral authorisation.

His exhibited work questions what remnants of cultural artefacts re-live their efficacy in forms that together honour, destroy and renew meaning. See his work within Translation Issues? exhibition from 1st July-17th July
