🎊We’re so back besties! 🎊 It’s day three at @ottawafringe and the courtyard was THE hottest spot in Ottawa. Oh and did I mention…. All our community programming is FREE 💅🏼 We gotta talk about the food! @oneigiri_or_two came in for their second of three days with delicious Onigiri! @lbc.labonnecuisine brought tacos and good vibes. And to satiate the sweet tooth, @suzyq.doughnuts was serving up their iconique doughnuts. 🍩 🍣 🌮 The cast of @smallfishshow dropped in to make left handed portraits of folks enjoying the afternoon. Picasso’s been awfully quiet ever since 💅🏼 🐟 @twosols.music opened up the patio with an incredible classical hybrid with violin and guitar, and brought their music right into the crowd! 🎻 🎸 Then it was time for Silent Disco, and that dance floor was going all night long! Three DJ’s, Two Decks, infinite vibes. Shoutout to our DJ’s @elitza.k (PR!NCESS PEACH), K2 and @al_connors 🎧 Don’t miss out on the 60+ shows and community events happening until June 28th! Get out there and dance 🪩 #theatre #nightlife #ottawa #disco #canada_life🇨🇦

Friends, an amazing thing happened today. The @cityofottawa unveiled a new street sign at the corner of Range Rd. & Laurier Ave. named for A Company of Fools — the madcap Shakespeare theatre company I co-founded with @joplingheather in 1990, which is still going strong 35 years later with the help of current Artistic Director @skeletonkate and all the many hundreds of Fools who were part of it in between. (Most notably Scott Florence who kept the company inspired and afloat for over half of that time.) My heart is overwhelmed with joy and pride that something I helped create has become such a beloved part of Ottawa culture that they wanted to erect a permanent sign of their affection. Thank you! My love and thanks to all those who played with, created with, supported, watched, loved, and inspired the Fools. Here’s to many more years of Fools and foolish fun to come! 🥳🎈🎉 #IndieTheatre #IndieArtistLife #FoolsWay

🎭 Day 8 at Fringe 2025 🌧️🕵️‍♀️✨ Today we all became fools starring in Shakespearean chaos, danced through the rain with glowing headsets, and battled siblings in lightsaber duels. We cracked mysteries, followed fairy tale characters down strange paths, and somehow made it to the next show just in time. Fringe is a ride and we’re not getting off just yet.
