Casual clothes. Same denim skirt, same colorful top, same me. Just different confidence. ✨
If you’ve ever wondered why I post myself so much now...
I didn’t always want to be in the picture. I was always the one taking it. Hiding behind the camera, behind baggy clothes, behind “I’ll wait til I lose a little more.”
Fitness didn’t just help me on my weight loss journey, it gave me my confidence back. It taught me how to show up. How to stand taller. How to look in the mirror and actually like who I see.
So yes, I post myself a lot now. Not for likes. Because for years I didn’t. Because I want my daughter to see her mama love herself out loud. Because God kept me and brought me this far and I’m not hiding anymore.
Soft. Casual. Comfortable. And CONFIDENT. That’s the real transformation.
With my baby girl who has been my biggest cheerleader from day one. 💜
What’s one thing your fitness journey gave you that has nothing to do with the scale? Tell me below — I read every comment.

Built it in the gym, wear it everywhere else.
The stronger I get, the more I love getting dressed up.
Same woman, just finally letting you see her everywhere. #ConfidenceReel #GymToGlam #Over40AndFine #BlackGirlMagic #GymGranny

“45: Strong enough to carry what I love, confident enough to celebrate who I’ve become, and grateful enough to enjoy the journey.” ❤️

Shedding pounds, gaining confidence, making memories. ✨

This journey has changed more than my body. It has changed the way I see myself, carry myself, and show up in the world.

And getting all dressed up for a night out with my daughter? Just another reminder that I’m allowed to enjoy the woman I worked so hard to become. ❤️

Confidence looks good on me. And so does motherhood. 🥂

There was a time when you would never catch me in public wearing a sleeveless shirt. I spent years hiding my arms and waiting for the ‘right’ body. Today, I’m choosing confidence over perfection. Loose skin and all, these arms tell a story of hard work, discipline, and over 142 pounds lost. I’m proud of that story.

I spent too many years hiding. Not anymore. Sleeveless season is officially open. 💪✨

These arms aren’t perfect. They have loose skin, stretch marks, and evidence of a long journey. But they also represent strength, consistency, and a woman who refused to quit. I’ll take that over perfection every time.

2 years in the making!
We have completed Murph 2 years in a row!!
To keep myself motivated I did the last run with 120 lbs on my back, about the same amount of weight I’ve released in 2 years!

Just some of the delicious meals I ate on my Carnival Cruise. I did pretty good!! I didn't touch the rice but certainly had a few plantains. I managed to stay in ketosis the whole time.
