This summer I had the amazing opportunity to attend Palmetto Girls State. I was honored to be able to play for a Vespers ceremony. It was truly a week that will last a lifetime, and I will forever treasure getting to share my talent with the wonderful girls! Now onto fall wedding season!

summer’s coming to an end. so is sixteen. so is a great chapter of my life. capturing memories such as these all summer keeps me nostalgic and it’s painful. girls state - unforgettable experience. my time with cheyenne - too short. first job + s.e.n.i.o.r. year at the same time - horrifying. the people make it worth while. thank you sixteen for showing me the power of independence , and thank you mom for showing me how to handle it.

& It would be nothing without a women or a girl

Stepping into politics feels scary but truthfully we all have a right to participate. Thank you South Carolina for allowing me to represent you at Girls Nation and supporting me to do so. To the staff at PGS thank you for every zoom call, every text, every email and for most importantly believing in me. To my family and friends thank you for listening to me discuss the SC Bill, every news event under the sun and for fostering a place where I knew my voice mattered. To my co-Senator, @kc.bri09 , I can’t wait to see what you achieve in the medical field and the success you will receive from all your hard work- keep shining. Girls Nation was truly a life changing experience- I am so thankful for the connections and friends I made but most importantly the person it has shaped me to be: one that understands that in order to see positive change they have to be the one actively seeking it.

A day in the life of America’s Ideal Miss South Carolina Teen 👑✨ @americasidealmissncsc

5:00 AM wake-up call ➡️ Morning interview with Mel Orlins on Channel 4 News 📺 ➡️ Breakfast ☕️ ➡️ Dropped my pups off at the groomer 🐶 ➡️ College prep 📚 ➡️ Seamstress appointment 👗 ➡️ Afternoon interview with Octavia Mitchell on Channel 2 News🎤 ➡️ Lunch 🍽️ ➡️ Nannied until 7 PM ❤️ ➡️ Dinner with my mom and her friends 🍝 ➡️ Reviewed for the ACT 📖

Then came this morning……😅

I woke up just 15 minutes before I had to be at the ACT and it was a 30 minute drive away! Somehow, by God’s grace, everything worked out, and I made it and took my test. 🙌 Now we’re just praying for that 36🙏🏻

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, but I’ve learned that God’s timing always does. ❤️

Now it’s back to preparing for nationals, less than 2 weeks until I compete for the title of America’s Ideal Miss Teen!

Such a gift for Elizabeth to attend Palmetto Girls State. It means so much to our family that she was able to continue a legacy shared by her mom, dad, and grandparents through Girls State and Boys State.

You have already accomplished so much from writing a children’s book, traveling thousands of miles and dedicating hundreds of hours selflessly serving others, and now bravely beginning your next adventure 9 hours away at Mississippi State University. While we couldn’t be more proud of everything you’ve achieved, we’re even prouder of the person you are. Your kindness, humility, beautiful spirit, and love for others are what make you uniquely extraordinary.

As you step into adulthood, we pray you always chase your dreams with courage, lead with grace, and never forget how deeply you are loved. The world is a better place because you’re in it, and we can’t wait to watch all God has planned for your future.
