Some amazing moments of the MARICUCINA AT BUCATINI event this past Friday captured by @christyc0207 📸

Not only are they some of my favorite plates, but each item that I included on the menu was really intentional. As always, food is my love language and this menu was a way to show it to the people I love by cooking my favorite things 💗

Here is the full rundown:

Appetizers:

Last Friday was definitely a whirlwind of so many emotions!! But, excitement would be the predominant feeling for sure.

Doing my first ever Maricucina Ticketed Event felt like a dream. 15 year old Maria would never believe it. This is the first of many and going from being “The Designated Cheese Grater” to cooking for 40 people is one for the books (at least for the Plevisani book given that I did not know how to fry an egg 5 years ago).

I did not get that much sleep the 3 days prior, had a gas shortage, called my mom for cooking advice more than I could count, went to Trader Joes’s way to many times, cut my finger (grating cheese ironically), cried more than 10 times cutting so many onions, and had flour all over my clothes for days… BUT every single moment was worth it !

I was not only able to cook my favorite dishes, but I was able to bring people together through my food and if you know me, there is certainly nothing I enjoy more. I have the best and most supportive friends in the world and this is just the beginning of what I envision to be a lifelong journey 🫶🏼💘🧀🍷🍝💐

It is an overflow of content but I just cannot stop thinking about it! Will be posting more details on the food and what I cooked next 🍝 But of course, you can assume there were tomatoes involved in most plates 🤭

Also @alablanchet is the best designer ever and did the most beautiful menus and flowers!!!!! 💘💐
