Muse @alan.landell embodying the masculine & feminine energy at @estudio.maza | CDMX 2024

Music by @cloud_boat that I used to listen to at small gigs back in London, when they were just starting. Still a big fan of their music. Do you have any artists that you witnessed their beginnings and you’re still into their creations?

Some of you may wonder why invest so much in shooting film, developing , scanning and all the hussle related to it. For me the answer is this special feel that only film photography has. None of the „looks like film” , fake frames or filters can imitate. Of course it also comes with a risk. Traveling with film can be exposed to a certain kind of damages - like for example a humidity that presented itself in some of these frames staining them. Airport scanners can also affect film- hence special bags or manual revisions outside of the X-ray scanners and delays at the airports ;)

What do you think about such unexpected effects / textures on film? Happy mistake or destroyed film roll?

Any traditional photography lovers here?

Someone that clearly became one and turned into a vintage camera collector after our encounter during this shoot is the muse of these portraits @alan.landell - the Founder of @im333.store project. Enjoy your journey through the analog world and thank you for our journey at @estudio.maza Alan.
