So it all began with a project with Dorian / @friiiiiiiied; he is the Director in our project. Back then, we had a tight timeline and planned to make things work.

First, it was Dorian who sent the shot list to All Hail Claude to make shot and scene arrangement easier; he made it, but it resulted in a huge html file that kept growing along the way.

Me as producer, saw the system could be optimized. Therefore, I extended the AI role to databasing, a CMS-like system, and some CRUD over web-based apps.

The First Alpha was born, with scene and shot management features.

Not stopping there, the project kept going, and vibe-coding kept happening. The scene and shot manager was completed with recce image results. Then we extended it to a shot-list generator, with exportable pdf format, just like a common shot list. Big Thanks to @alan_jogging , he suggested our web have a media pool to make recce photo uploading easier to update for each shot.

That's how the second Alpha was built.

After the project was done, I continued to develop these apps. Now it’s not only scene and shot; I injected a call sheets creator, looks manager, set arrangement, and logistics recap for production items. A one-stop production preparation app, Shotgen.

By this post, I want to share that I opened 6 seats (free) for users (Creatives and connected majors). The aim is to get beta-test reports so we can continue the evolution of ShotGen in a greater way.
