Portraits are important. Details are important. But I want someone who wasn’t at your wedding to look through your photos and feel like they were.

To feel how quiet the room got during your vows. How hard everyone laughed during the speeches. How fucking fun that dance floor was.

That takes more than photographing what everything looked like. It takes paying attention to the people, anticipating a reaction, knowing when to get close and when to show the whole room.

Your wedding had an energy all its own. I know how to make that show up in your photos.

I worked with Alan this morning but this was how he looked the last time I saw him. At his wedding reception, newly married to the lovely Sabrina and positively glowing ✨️ #wedding #reception #coworker #blessings

As usual we have a full month of community all inclusive rolls all over Detroit and beyond. First up this week’s Slow Roll Detroit at The Chroma Building. Our special guest Co Lead is none other than my family and Godmother of House, @hotwaxxhale Were going to roll together and it’s your opportunity to meet and roll with a living legend. Special afterparty at Chroma with another banger @djbet313 Food, Drinks and local vendors. That’s just Thursday!

Ok I see what you did there. I can’t be more excited for Slow Roll Detroit to be a part of the Trenton Art Festival 2026. Not only are we doing an amazing 10-12 mile ride. We’re also checking out some of the existing murals but we’ll also be watching the NEW murals going in live. We’ll be going through beautiful Elizabeth Park and of course I’m connecting with local spots and gems to add that Slow Roll Detroit, Jason Hall flavor to it. Mark your calendars and be ready to make a day/night of it if you like.

If you have it in you stay for the light show or if you couldn’t make the roll you can still partake of the festivities. I know I’ll be there.

Before the day is done, I want to shine a light on #pediatriccancerawareness! It’s why me and some of my @fox2detroit coworkers wore Gold (or yellow) today!

To all the young patients and their families, KEEP FIGHTING! We’re in your corner. 💛💛💛

The Slow Roll Paint the Park Roll was awesome! It was so great to see so many people from Downriver coming out to show off their community. Allen Park welcomed us with open arms. So much that we’re doing it again but this time with the @trentonartfestival in September. So if you missed today’s energy do my worry you’ll get another chance. Thank you to @muralpeople , @small__arms and @allenparkdowntown for inviting us to be a part of this year’s festival.
