This week’s @mediaagainstapartheid selection of listens & reads:

Aquí Seguimos. Two UCSD professors face suspension in the war on campus protest. Israel starved Gaza. Now doctors fear it has permanently damaged a generation. Israel has cut off water to 47 Palestinian families in the northern West Bank. Miami-Dade County votes to allow more investment in Israel bonds. In Lebanon, in limbo. The unsettling reality of Gaza’s open graves. Israel bombed a hospital. It separated a family for three years. Gazans feel despair as Israeli officials cement plans for permanent occupation. Gaza journalists released from Israeli jails say their jobs made them targets. And more.

Media Against Apartheid & Displacement (MAAD) is a collaboratively curated media hub site that gathers and presents articles on the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Israeli apartheid and the occupation of Palestine, U.S. complicity, and resistance movements fighting for Palestinian liberation.

26 was a challenge, no year of life has pushed me as much as this year did. but i also don’t think no other year was truly lived. i’m beyond proud of the person i have become over the past year. what a beautiful thing to really understand and experience the beauty in the every day, in the highs but also the lows. what a beautiful thing to be human. what a beautiful thing to live and be alive. here’s to 27
