-TOPIA: now a trilogy.

As we enter our third iteration, it feels apt to reflect on the years that have shaped our fleeting world into being.

Come with us on a journey through time…

🎞️ The Cult: axolotls

[𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞: 𝐮-𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚 / 𝐝𝐲𝐬-𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚]
In our first year we built a garden, inspired by Bosch. Earthly, teeming and strange.
A u-topia to feel like dappled sunlight through leaves.
A dys-topia to challenge the senses.
And a -topia somewhere between the two: the psycho slow burn.

[𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞: 𝐮-𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚 / 𝐝𝐲𝐬-𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚]
EXPERIMENT. LINGER. DANCE IN THE SPACE BETWEEN COLLAPSE AND PARADISE.

🎞️ Polito

[𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨: 𝐫𝐞-𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭]
In our second year, the edges of our wild garden expanded into a wilder world.
One with its own set of rules.
The only sense of order was its inescapable cycle: mirroring the cycle of life.

The perfect logic of impermanence.

🎞️ Carmen Yih

[𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨: 𝐫𝐞-𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭]
BIRTH. DISCOVERY. TRIBULATION. CONTEMPLATION. REBIRTH.

Our third year is now upon us, and it’s come with a question: what happens when we cross over?

Inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, -TOPIA 26 is a triptych of realms – three distinct portals to better understand our world… and what lies beyond it.

-TOPIA has always been a co-creation. Melded and formed by our artistic line-up, by the minds of the punters, by the opportune moments that emerge.

We’re standing in the doorway. What unfolds next is almost here. Are you coming in?

-TOPIA
-The Omnipresent Place I’m Allowed-

To express myself
To be
To nurture
To excite
To love
To see
To feel.

I’ve been at creating for a decade now, come 2026…Just like the 5 stages of life you’ll experience at -TOPIA, here are 5 of the things I’ve learned along the way~

1. Always have intention, because where intention goes, energy flows.
2. Never be ashamed of who you are, your story, or how you react to situations. We are only human, I am uniquely me.
3. Emphasise connection to imagination, and always be willing to learn.
4. Failing is succeeding, because succeeding is trying.
5. For some, you become the person you needed most when you were younger.

The greater Topian family (you know who you are) share this sense of alignment! Our community is for connection, for growth, for creativity and collaboration.

This place or space was meant for nothing else besides bringing out those raw unadulterated emotions in all of us.

I’d love nothing more than seeing all your faces this Friday 26th (public holiday)

Ecstacy like no other, a euphoria reminiscent of ‘De ja vu’.

Enter unsettled, leave fulfilled.

Welcome to -TOPIA 💖
