Two months ago, I asked myself that more times than I could count...

I joined @centurytunasuperbods because I wanted to challenge a side of myself that I hadn’t really explored publicly before.

I’ve always loved fitness, sports and movement, but I’m often seen through the lens of pageantry. So I was excited to step into a space where I could simply be an athlete, a fitness instructor and someone who genuinely enjoys pushing herself physically.💪🏻

Of course, I came into the experience with a picture in my head of what it would be like. I imagined more physical challenges, more sports, more training and more opportunities to grow alongside people who share the same passion for fitness.🏋🏻‍♀️

But the experience taught me something I didn’t expect.

Sometimes, you enter something thinking you need to prove who you are, only to realize that you already know.❤️

I realized that I don’t need a title, a competition, or a certain physique to call myself someone who is committed to fitness. I already am.🔥

I realized how much I genuinely love teaching and motivating people. I realized that I want to continue learning, challenging myself, and even pursue more opportunities where I can help others on their own fitness journeys.🥰

And most importantly, I realized that I have so much more I want to explore.✨

This experience may not have unfolded exactly the way I imagined it would, but maybe that was the point. It gave me clarity about where I want to go next.

I’m leaving this chapter with more dreams, more purpose, and an even stronger understanding of who I am. 💗

And I think that’s something worth taking with me. ❤️‍🔥

I think I came into this experience with a different picture in my head. I was really excited to explore the fitness side of things, and along the way, the experience unfolded a little differently than I expected.

It didn’t end with the result I wanted, but honestly, I’m glad I got to experience it for myself.

Because sometimes you can wonder “what if?” forever, or you can just try.

I chose to try.

And now I can take this experience for what it was, keep the memories, and keep moving forward.

I also want to say thank you to everyone who helped me throughout this journey, to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, believed in me, and helped me get to this point. I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you.🥰

One thing I know for sure is that my love for fitness goes far beyond one competition. This is still very much my fitness era, and I’m excited to keep growing in it, sharing it, and finding new ways to make it a bigger part of my life.

There’s still so much I want to explore, so many ideas in my head, and so many paths ahead.

This was just one of them. ❤️

𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗯𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗸𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻?

I wasn’t a content creator or someone who had already built a name in this space. Sa totoo lang, I wondered if that put me a few steps behind...

But being unfamiliar with the arena never meant I didn’t belong in it ✨

I knew my strengths, trusted what 13 years of being an athlete had built in me, and stood beside people who were already INCREDIBLE at what they do (pageantera mode yan pero naffangirl inside 🥹🫶😩✨)

I didn’t need to be the most known person on that stage. My only pangako was to represent the little community I came from, and make them proud. 🤍

Thank you queen Jampoll Mallo for this routine, mamu Diwa Gilmo for my foundation, Direk Robby Carmona of @saga.ph.official and Sir JL Dahan for the techniques that helped bring the performer in me back to life.

After living it, I don’t think it was ever meant to fit neatly into either.

Fitness builds the discipline, strength, and confidence to show up. But the stage asks you to do something else with them: to express, connect, and perform.

I’ve always loved performing, and after 2 years away from the pageant stage, Superbods reminded me how ALIVE 😩✨ I feel on one

Maybe that’s what makes a Superbod: not just building a strong body, but learning how to carry everything that body has built in you...

And for me, it was where the athlete and the performer finally got to exist on the same stage!! 🤍
