Behind the scenes of 2024 J.A.C.D. Program! Through the J.A.C.D. (Just Another Choreographic Development) Program we aim to teach videography skills, provide rehearsal space and provide filmed dance pieces for social media, show reels or grant applications. This time we welcomed the brilliant @rhi.dunaiski @milolikethedrink @sophiehollingworth_ @stellamaypage @alannah.talbot and additional dancers Kála Melegh and @fernmines
Thank you to State Theatre Company @statetheatresa for the use of the Lion Studio 💖
We look forward to bringing J.A.C.D. back again in 2025! 💃🏻🕺🏻

Another mention of how the wonderful costume department at @tafe_sa designed and created our costumes for Peter’s work Softening a Thistle.

Every item of clothing was discussed with, tailored and altered to each dancer. We were thrilled with the results!

Saturnine Night by Jack Ziesing

Imposition. Despondency. Beauty. Catharsis.

We loved every second of uncovering how creepy we can be. Thank you @jacky_bones for a beautiful process of sharing and rediscovery.

Softening a Thistle by Peter Sheedy

We revelled in the chance to explore something darker with grit and anguish. Thank you Peter and Lisa for nurturing our individuality in this space of attitude and emotion.
