THE ALBUM IS FINALLY HERE!!! 😭💖🫧
WELCOME TO SILKETOPIA: THE ARISING 💫

I don’t even know where to start 🥹
In a way, this album has been over 20 years in the making. I was a shy little girl who barely spoke at school, but had this whole world in my imagination. And somehow, all these years later, that little world has become Silketopia.

I released my first song in 2021, taught myself how to produce music, released my first self-produced song last year, and got to bring my music to the Melodi Grand Prix stage. And now I have an actual ALBUM out??? 😭

But none of this would have been the same without the people around me ❤️

@audun_agnar , my love, best friend and biggest supporter. Thank you for always being there and believing in me.

@amalieoofficial, thank you for being the best manager and believing in me.

My family, thank you for always making me feel so loved and supported.

@sara_undrum, @elenskjervold and @kristinemb3, thank you for helping me turn my crazy ideas into something real.

@oscarandreaas and @jontelennartsson, I don’t think you realize how much last autumn meant to me. Thank you for being such good friends.

@martin.holmen, thank you for being the first to invite me on the radio and for being so kind.

@universalmusicnorge and Sindre for distributing the album to the world.

And to all the amazing songwriters I’ve worked with, thank you for the laughter, creativity and wonderful days in the studio 💖

And to everyone listening, dancing, sending me messages and being part of Silketopia... thank you. You make Silketopia real 🥹

I feel so lucky that I get to make music and share it with you. I can’t wait until we get to sing and dance together at shows!! 🪩💖

This is only the beginning.
Welcome to Silketopia. 💖🫧

✨ Discover the original artwork created for every track on my album, Into the Light.

Each song and its corresponding chapter in the companion book has its own unique piece of art, created by the extraordinarily talented collage artist Jen Fountain. @luna.lingua

Jen and I collaborated for nearly a year leading up to the album's release, creating images that capture the lyrics, emotions, and deeper messages behind each song. Together, the artwork explores resilience, overcoming the seemingly impossible, and finding a path toward healing from deep-seated trauma and abuse.

The companion book brings this visual world to life in full color, with the artwork, lyrics, and listening links opening every chapter. The book is also being considered for Best Album Notes, alongside the album's submissions for Best Contemporary Folk Album and Best Album Cover.

Beyond the art itself, the sisterhood and friendship that have grown through this collaboration have been a true blessing. Jen has an extraordinary gift for channeling the essence of a song into an image, and I'm so grateful our paths crossed at the perfect time. ❤️

🎨 Explore more of Jen's work at @luna.lingua.

⚠️ Spoiler alert: No AI was used in the making of this artwork or the album. 😅

There’s something special about a place that keeps bringing you back. 🌅

For Alan, Las Negras has been exactly that, a place to write, connect, be inspired and simply enjoy the process. It’s also where he co-wrote his 2020 Azerbaijan Eurovision entry “Cleopatra", surrounded by sunshine, the sea and a creative community he describes as the “mother of all song camps.”

Beautiful surroundings, great people, unforgettable songs and, in Alan’s words, “fun, fun, fun.”

That’s the heart of Las Negras. ☀️

We still have a few spaces remaining for this November. If this feels like an experience you’d love to be part of, maybe this could be your year too.

Sometimes, the biggest opportunities begin with simply being in the right room, at the right time. ✨

In a little village in southern Spain, songwriters have found inspiration, formed lasting connections, and created songs that travelled further than they ever imagined.

Three Eurovision entries were written here:

🇦🇿 Cleopatra — Azerbaijan 2020
🇱🇻 Hollow — Latvia 2024
🇭🇷 Poison Cake — Croatia 2025

It's amazing what can happen when the right people come together in the right place.

And this November, we're doing it all again. 🌅

Very grateful to have confirmed the category for "Into the Light" in Best Contemporary Folk Album for the upcoming GRAMMY®️ ballot.

To me, this is not simply an album. It tells the story of how I overcame severe child abuse and found a life of joy through the power of music and the written word. The album and book are for anyone who has struggled through trauma, offering companionship, insight, and hope on the path to healing.

Would truly appreciate fellow Recording Academy members' consideration.

Ten songs. Ten stories. A journey from trauma to triumph. 'Into the Light' is more than an album. It's a multi-sensory, musical healing experience that comes with a companion book and journal to help you navigate your own healing process.

I’ve tried hard to summarize last weeks camp.
The best thing I can come up with is that for me, there’s a before and an after I found @rhubarbpark.
Thanks for connecting me with all these amazingly talented people. For filling me with inspiration.
And for being a safe space that feels like home.

It was a joy meeting you @alanroyscott and thank you for believing in me and my songwriting! I can’t believe I wrote a song in two hours and performed it in Iceland the same night! Sometimes the best songs are like that. They just flow through you from the universe and we need to be ready to receive.

Deep reverence and respect for the craft of songwriting and music.

What an incredible songwriting camp to be part of in Iceland and thank you to the wonderful @cboshuizen for making the magic happen 🫶☀️💫🪽🙏🏼🌌🍀

Like Bobby Brown used to say “Every little step I take” 🎶 is a celebration 🎉 of indie music success. It’s not the small amount that matters to me, it’s the fact that slowly my music is being played around the world. 🌍 Many thanks 🙏🏾 to @snschi and @stevesilkhurley for his brilliant idea to involve @djeddieamador @djskipchicago and @zonum.es to transform my ballad into an ongoing #housemusic anthem playing regularly at @nikkibeachibiza and other venues. #newmusic is coming soon. As my song says “Hold On”. 😅 #thelastpage #remix @applemusic
